Started my day with trip to the airport. Then two meetings.
Meeting #1 with a fabulous group of co-organizers about an upcoming conference on Literary History for the 21st century: Diversity and the Digital, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Orlando Project and the many ways that we’re using the digital to promote and explore the diversity of our cultural pasts. It will be May 2015: watch for a CFP soon!
Meeting #2 with CSDH/SCHN exec to debate the proposals for revisions to ADHO structures and processes, and to broaden our support for graduate student participation in our annual meetings at Congress to include support for unwaged members.
Now en route to Richmond VA for an exciting day tomorrow engaged in New Humanities Conversations with Aaron McCollough, Stephen Robertson, Richard Godbeer, John Glover, and other folks at Digital Pragmata at Virginia Commonwealth University: what a great Day of DH it will be!
