|How do you Define DH?||
For me, DH is using technology to support humanistic inquiry.
Carnegie Mellon University
I’m a postdoc in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. In the fall I’ll start at Virginia Tech as an assistant professor of computer science. My research focuses on crowd creativity, i.e., how social computing and crowdsourcing techniques can augment human creativity. My interests in DH center on ways to leverage social computing to engage the public in activities that promote learning while also contributing to original research efforts. I’m particularly interested in digital history projects.
