|How do you Define DH?||
For me, the Digital Humanities is more than just an area of study, it is a methodology, a means of approaching our work and our interests. While simultaneously embracing and questioning the technology that surrounds us, we also commit ourselves to a willingness to explore, create, play, and most importantly, collaborate.
I am a Second Year student in Carleton University’s MA Film Studies, with a collaborative specialization in the Digital Humanities (what a mouthful). I currently live in Ottawa, ON, Canada, but I’m originally from the so-called “Paris of the Prairies,” Saskatoon, SK. My research interests include Horror films, comic books, “interactive” media, documentaries, and transmedia storytelling. When I’m not researching and writing about film, I spend my time writing and co-producing documentaries and trying to catch up on my comics.
