Andy Schocket is Associate Professor of History and American Culture Studies and Director of American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University. He studies and teaches early American history and culture, the American Revolution, the Atlantic World, memory, and digital humanities. He is author of Founding Corporate Power in Early National Philadelphia (2007) and Fighting Over the Founders: The American Revolution in Contemporary Life (forthcoming, 2015), and has published in a variety of academic journals as well as written for the public through the History News Service. He is involved in various digital humanities projects. He has also been deeply involved in the Bowling Green State University Faculty Association.
