About me

History Graduate, Science Librarian, Digital Humanities Student

I’m new to the field of Digital Humanities.  Most of what I do today will be library work with a digital component. It’s not exactly DH but there are intersections and overlaps.

On a broader level, I’m interested in the potential of the Digital Humanities to:

  • discover new tools and methods for doing Humanities research
  • enable better access to Humanities resources
  • reverse the separation of the Arts and Sciences

This is where I will spend most of my time today; Met Éireann HQ.

It’s a truncated square pyramid. And yes, it sometimes feels as if the walls are coming in on us.
