DH in the Curriculum
Public Group active 8 years, 2 months agoA group for people who want to talk about curricular and pedagogical issues around DH in the classroom. Like, how much theory to teach, what should the students read, and where does that theory belong in the program? How do you scaffold TEI and XSLT so that students can began doing real things as soon as possible? Who teaches XSLT? Would Python do as well as XSLT (our Computer Science department teaches Python? And as an ABET-accredited program, they don’t know how to teach courses to humanities majors without challenging their accreditation. You probably have better questions than this!
