About Me

Screen shot 2014-04-07 at 23.58.38Hello – I am a PhD researcher in the School of Histories and Humanities (Department of History of Art and Architecture). I am part of the collaborative team responsible for making the digital resource ‘Gothic Past’ – a visual archive of Irish medieval architecture and sculpture. My doctoral thesis investigates the activity of migrant church furnishing firms in Ireland between 1850 and 1922 for which I have been awarded funding from Trinity College Dublin, the Irish Georgian Society and the Paul Mellon Centre, London. I sit on the Council of the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland, advise on the digital management of cultural heritage assets, have lectured and written on Irish art and architecture and manage the ‘Gothic Past‘ web resource.
